AFC

Club was founded in 1912 and but for the War years and 2024/25 Season has run continually to the present day.

We currently have a Mens' Team playing in The Witney & District FA League Premier Division on Saturday afternoons.

Harwell & Hendred Youth U14's use the pitch on Sunday mornings and a local Vets team have two teams playing over $0's and over 50's using out facilities on a Sunday afternoons. The Ground and pitch has won many County FA Awards over the years and is often hired for Cup Semi Finals and National County Schools FA Matches by the Vale of White Horse Teams.

The ground has always been well received by visitors and particularly so this Season in a New League.

East and West Hendred Cricket Club

East & West Hendred Cricket Club, established back in 1862, is a friendly village cricket club that welcomes anyone interested in cricket: Players of all standards and all ages, men & women, boys & girls, umpires, and volunteers.

We have three Cherwell league Saturday teams, a Sunday Friendly team, two mid-week 20-20 teams, U11, U13 and U15 youth teams, a thriving women's membership offering U18 and senior women's league teams and last but not least ECB Allstars cricket for 5-8 year olds and Dynamos for 8-11 year olds.

We have something for everyone so pop down to Mill Lane and join in!

Hendred 

Tennis Club 

Hendreds Tennis Club is wonderfully located at the Sports Club in the heart of East Hendred, a stone’s throw from excellent pubs and a village shop which stocks balls and reviving refreshments. We welcome members from near and further afield.

If you haven’t yet done so, we invite you to join our LTA friendly, private club which enjoys a good standard of tennis.

Families, individual adults or juniors can join at locally competitive rates. Membership of the club enables priority access to and online booking of two great refurbished courts in a superb location with parking. Members can take part in our regular club sessions, friendly matches with local teams, tournaments and social events. We also have 2 pickleball courts and run a friendly sessions on Saturday mornings
